Dr. CONCEPCIÓN PAREJO PRADOS studied chemistry at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid (UCM) where she graduated in 1993.
She began his research activity at the Institute of Polymer Science and Technology (CSIC) in Madrid in the field of biopolymers: polymethacrylamides and polymethacrylates, focusing the study on drugs anchored polymers used as delivery systems. She received her PhD in chemistry in 1999 at the UCM.
Afterthats she moved to the University Miguel Hernandez de Elche where her research work has been developing ever since. During the last 7 years she has worked on the synthesis and characterization of nonlinear optical chromophores, liquid crystals, and polymer photosensitizers for application as photorefractive materials. In addition to studies on molecular materials and polymers with laser and photorefractive properties.
